Baby in pushchair hit by car in Darlaston outside medical centre and is rushed to hospital
A BABY has been rushed to hospital after a car ploughed into a pram in the West Midlands.
Emergency services were called to Pinfold Street, in Darlaston, around 10.15am.

The baby suffered facial, shoulder and arm injuries in the smash outside a medical centre.
Witness John Cownley described seeing the buggy being "thrown into the air".
The barber shop owner told the Birmingham Mail: "I saw the ambulance turn up and I have heard that the buggy was thrown into the air, which must have been from the sheer impact.

"I heard the child is very young, possibly only a few months old.
"The road is very busy and drivers do speed along here. An elderly woman, one of my customers, was hit by a taxi on the zebra crossing just 12 months ago.
"She was very badly injured.
"It is particularly dangerous at that junction because you have the traffic joining Pinfold from the dual carriageway.

"And drivers can put their foot down there at times.”
Police have cordoned off a zebra crossing while officers investigate.
A West Midlands Police spokeswoman said: “There was a collision between a car and a pushchair at 10.15am.
"A baby has been taken to hospital.”
The tot's age, gender or condition is not known at this stage.
